Okay, I wrote this out. I hope this helps InshaaAllah.

Instructions for Creating a Tiered Garment

1.

Watch the instagram Video

Start by watching the most recent video where she creates a baby doll garment. It will give you a general visual guide on how to attach the first tier properly.

2.

Take Measurements

• First, measure the width across the bottom of the shirt you’ve made. For example, if the bottom width is 30 inches, use this as your base measurement.

• Decide how many tiers you want. Let’s say you want

two tiers

.

Tier 1 (Top Tier):

Measure from your waist to your knee or just above it to determine the length. For example, this might be 20 inches.

Tier 2 (Bottom Tier):

Measure from your knee to your ankle or the bottom of your foot ( However long you want it). Let’s say this is another 20 inches.

3.

Calculate Fabric Widths

• When cutting your fabric, double the width of the fabric for the tier.

• For example:

• Shirt width: 30 inches

• Tier 1 width: 60 inches (30 inches x 2)

• Tier 1 length: 20 inches

4.

Attach the First Tier

• Gather the fabric for Tier 1 until its width matches the bottom width of your shirt (example gather the 60-inch tier down to 30 inches).

• Check that the gathered tier matches the shirt’s width before attaching.

• If the gathered tier is too short, attach additional fabric, gather it, and re-check the width before sewing it onto the shirt.

5.

Attach Additional Tiers

• Repeat the same process for each subsequent tier:

• Measure the desired length

• Double the width of the tier above it

• Gather the fabric

• Attach it securely, ensuring widths match

You will follow this process for both the front and back of the garment. Once both sides are complete, sew them together along the side seams to finish assembling the piece. 😊
