Assalaamu Alaikum how do you add hips to an Aline? I’m making someone a garment that’s very hippy but the garment is very tight around the hip section? So actually how do you cut for different body shapes

I would use the arm measurements for the large if that fits better for the upper body. If 2x fits better for the hips I would mark both a large and 2x body measurement on the fabric. Start cutting at the large body measurement cut down for about 3-4 inches then swing/cut outward towards the 2x body measurement. This will allow you to have more space in the hips while having a smaller top. I hope this helps.
